Weekly plan analyzer
This week's plan, checked against its own arithmetic and read against every dish this kitchen has cooked before.
This week
Cooked Friday, September 25. Eating Saturday, September 26 through Friday, October 2.
Ruby and Dad run two meal patterns out of phase with each other.
The verdict
Calories are back up, the Creami carb error from last week is gone, and the dinner pasta is now named as protein pasta outright. Protein is the thing that gave way.

The read
8 findings across the jobs Ruby holds — cook, buyer, the person running the Friday, and one of the two people eating it.
Worth asking · 2
102g a day, down from 107g, on 99 more calories. Protein per 100 calories falls from 9.1 to 8.0 — back to roughly where it sat at the start of the month.
The tofu rice bowl is where it goes. At 23.7g it is the lowest lunch of the week, and every day that finishes near 96g has it. The days built on spring rolls and protein pasta clear 108–111g.
Worth knowing whether that is deliberate variety or whether the rice bowl simply came out lighter on protein than intended.
Two meal patterns alternate, but offset — when Ruby has the blueberry bowl and spring rolls, Dad has the pineapple bowl and the rice bowl, and the next day they swap. They share only the Creami.
Two days break the alternation: Ruby's Friday and Dad's Tuesday each take a breakfast from one pattern with a lunch and dinner from the other. That reads like inventory falling where it falls rather than a decision, the same way Saturday worked in previous weeks.
It is the first time since September 6 that the two schedules differ at all, and it doubles the labeling work at pack time.

Five of six days last week counted a whole Creami pint's net carbs where each person eats half, overstating by about 8g a day. This plan lists Creamis at the half pint only and every day's total agrees with it.
All fourteen person-days reconcile — calories, protein, net carbs, fat and fiber. The only gap anywhere is one calorie on Saturday, where the banana Creami reads 132 on the reference and implies 133 in the day total. That is rounding, not disagreement.
1,448 on September 6, then 1,258, then 1,182, now 1,281. The three-week slide has stopped. Food now sits about 366 calories below resting burn rather than 465.
Ruby flagged the low total energy in her own read last week, and this is the plan responding to it.
The arrabbiata landed at 23g of protein and the open question was which pasta it used. This week's dinner is called protein pasta outright and comes in at 31.1g on 459 calories, with 10g of fiber — the most of any dish on the plan.
That is the single biggest lever available to this kitchen, used deliberately and written down.
The previous plan ran through Saturday September 26 with an oat and kefir bowl, a Caesar wrap and turmeric tofu. This one starts the same day with a blueberry bowl, spring rolls and protein pasta.
The site shows the newer plan for that date and says so. Worth a glance at what was actually eaten, since one of the two batches presumably has a portion left over.
The plan says so plainly: calories, protein, net carbs and fat come from the finalized calculations, and fiber is estimated wherever the nutrition label was not available. Every fiber value on the sheet carries a tilde.
It averages about 26g a day, in line with the last three weeks. Treat the direction as solid and the decimal as soft.
Bone broth, then an ACV shot, now a 16-calorie juice shot. None has lasted two cycles. The juice shot is the smallest of the three and the only one with no protein in it.
Inventory
An independent read of what this kitchen buys, from the one receipt in the archive — Trader Joe's, 8611 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, 2026-09-03, 94 items, $257.78. It reports .
Read this first
Two dishes eaten this week — the berry-chia yogurt bowl and the teriyaki rice bowl — need yogurt, chia seeds and rice between them. None of those three ingredients appears anywhere on this receipt, and both dishes physically exist. So this is demonstrably one store of the three Ruby shops, and nothing below should be read as a stock list.
What this week needed that the receipt cannot account for
No egg of any kind appears on the receipt, and no dish in the archive has ever used one.
Egg sandwich
No bread on the receipt. This would be the first bread-forward dish she has made.
Egg sandwich
Also absent for the berry-chia bowl currently in the fridge, which is how we know this receipt is partial.
Greek yogurt bowl
Not on the receipt. A miso that is not shelf-stable at home is a shopping item.
Miso-ginger soup
Not on the receipt, and fresh ginger does not keep from a previous cycle.
Miso-ginger soup
The single biggest lever on the soup's protein, and there is no evidence of which kind.
Miso-ginger soup
Decides whether the arrabbiata lands near 30g of protein or near 13. Edamame or legume pasta is the difference.
Arrabbiata
The Impossible burger and the cheese are both on the receipt; the wrapper is not.
Protein burrito
Absent, consistent with this week having no oat dish at all — but next week has one.

What only Ruby can answer
- Is the tofu rice bowl meant to be the lighter lunch, or did it land under where you wanted it on protein?
- Ruby and Dad are on different patterns this week — deliberate, or how the inventory worked out?
- Saturday the 26th is in both plans. Which one actually got eaten, and is there a spare portion from the other?
A page that grades someone's work owes them its working. A label or plan figure was measured. inferred means nobody said it and it is a reasonable read of the evidence, nothing more.
Fit. A dish scores 100 when it matches the macro profile that person's week already achieves. Protein per 100 calories and fiber per 100 calories are each divided by that person's current figure, capped at 2x so one outlier macro cannot run away with the result, then weighted 0.65 to protein and 0.35 to fiber. Above 108 the dish pulls their week up; below 92 it pulls it down. The cap is why nothing scores above 200. Baselines come from the plan in the refrigerator, not typed in: Dad's week runs 1281.3 calories a day at 8.0g protein and 2.00g fiber per 100 calories; Ruby's runs 8.0g and 2.00g.
Sources. Cycle one from Ruby_Weekly_Meal_Prep_Macros.pdf and the container photographs of August 29 and 30. Cycle two from Ruby_Dad_Meal_Prep_Master_Sep26-Oct2_2026.pdf, checked against its own printed day totals — all twelve person-days reconcile. The receipt from two photographs of one roll. Next week's menu from Ruby's message of September 10.
Nutrition figures are meal-prep accounting, not clinical advice, and the shelf-life note reflects general food-safety guidance rather than a judgement about any particular kitchen.
The registry is typed source. When the macro sheet lands, projections become measurements and the evidence level moves with them — a data edit, not a rewrite. Every dish is browsable in the registry.
